Arthur Stanton was a fearless, forceful Missionary in one the most dangerous and spiritually dark areas of 19th Century London for over fifty years. He was a creative Spiritual and Social influence upon, not only his own area where he worked but as a model of courage on behalf of the Gospel to the whole world.
John Keble was the very opposite to Arthur Stanton. He was a gentle, quiet and sensitive man but also one of the most brilliant Poets and Theologians in 19th Century England. He mentored Christian Writers and Poets and is one of the most important models of mentoring in modern Church history.
"THE IMAGE OF GOD IS FOUND IN SOME OF THE MOST UNLIKELY PLACES"
The vision of the Stanton Keble Creative Christian Living Workshops is to seek to embody the soul and strategic vision of these two men and the many they influenced.
The Stanton Keble Workshops are best thought of as a learning community rather than an academic institution.
The idea of our learning community is to bring together Roma Christians from Central and Eastern Europe and connect together through the process of learning that brings enhancement to both Roma and non Roma communities. Roma Christian leaders have shared their conviction they want to see what God is doing among them as somethng for the whole Church to learn from.
SOME OF THE WORKSHOPS WILL BE FOR ROMA ONLY - SOME WILL BE FOR NON-ROMA AND ROMA AND SOME WILL BE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO JOIN THE LEARNING COMMUNITY
These workshops make up the structure of the learning community and participated in through both Online Learning and also in Real time and space workshops.
There are four Core Workshop Programmes within Stanton Keble plus several customised teaching modules on Creative and Spiritual Development for the Roma community.
